Central Government fund for research

Muvattupuzha: The Central Government has granted Nirmala College (Autonomous) 64 lakh rupees. The Science and Technology department of the government has allowed the college to procure advanced equipment for research and to develop new technological innovations in coordination, with a grant of 64 lakh rupees. 

Principal Fr. Dr. Jestin Kannadan mentioned that the grant will be useful for the interns, research, and startups of the students. The Science departments of the college will benefit more from this. 

The college received a patent  for the discovery in the field of chemistry. This achievement, following the attainment of autonomy by the College, marks its first national recognition.
