LIBSOFT Digital Library is a key to the fabulous world of digital
resources. It access to large amount of information to users wherever they are
and whenever they need it. The client interface is a web client and they can access all these
digital library facilities.

Interface
e-Books
The e-Books is an electronic version of
a printed book which can be read on a computer or a specifically designed
handheld device. In the LIBSOFT Digital Library, here we have a number of
e-Books resources links are available for the users. They can read or download
the books in the pdf format. By viewing the e-Book Resources links
Click the e-Book icon
Then it will display a table with
resource links and a small description of that particular link on the right
side. After getting the resource link table, we can access each link by just
click on them.
E-Journals
Electronic journals, also known as
e-journals, and electronic serials, are scholarly journals or intellectual magazines
that can be accessed via electronic transmission. Online journal articles are a
specialized form of electronic document: they have the purpose of providing
material for academic research and study, and they are formatted approximately
like journal articles in traditional printed journals. Often a journal article
will be available for download in two formats - as a PDF and in HTML format,
although other electronic file types are often supported for supplementary
material.
By viewing the e-Journal links,
Click-->e-Journals
icon
Then it will display a window with
subject wise e-Journals resource. By clicking on each subject to get the
corresponding e-Journals. Click on the links to access the Electronic journals.
Institutional
Repository
An institutional repository is an
archive for collecting, preserving, and disseminating digital copies of the
intellectual output of an institution, particularly a research institution. An institutional
repository include other digital assets generated by academics, such
as datasets, administrative documents, course notes, learning objects, or
conference proceedings.
1. By
accessing the Repositories Click->Repositories
Icon, then it will display the Institutional Repositories window, here all
the uploaded documents will be displayed.
2. We
have a search field contains Field Name,
Operator, Look For on the top of the repository window.
3. In
the Field Name there is a dropdown
list to select a particular field value. Eg.:-
Title, Author, Subject, Keyword, Year.
Web OPAC -Libsoft
We can access Library Catalogue(OPAC) through Web (Internet).
By accessing the web OPAC feature just
Click--->web OPAC Icon.
Through this OPAC you can search the
library books and also get the details of the books including Title, Author,
Copies, Edition etc.
There are three types of searches are
available....
a)
Quick Search:
In quick search you can put books Title/Author/Keywords and then click on the
'Go' button to see the results.
b)
Simple Search:
The simple search contains Field Name,Operator, Lookfor and Sorting Field
c) Advanced Search:
In this type of search you can put
logical operators in between two simple searches.
Question Bank
Click--->Question
Bank Icon to display a window with all the
courses available in your college. by clicking on each course the list menu
will display the semester details (Sem 1, Sem 2 etc.), after selecting the
semester you can see the subjects related to that semester, on clicking the
subject to see the question papers in the right panel of the window. The
question papers are available in the pdf format either you can read/download
the question papers.

Gallery
Clicking
on the Outstanding events icon to show the campus gallery, in the left panel
you can choose the category and the pictures will show it on the right pan.
