Introduction :
The Golden Jubilee Memorial Central Library is located in the main campus on four floors with a total area of 1517.04 Sq.M. An extension of the Central library is functioning in the MCA block. Nirmala College Library offers students an excellent selection of books, journals and magazines on all subjects and Internet facilities.
Hardbound volumes of the back issues of the leading journals and magazines are also available. The Central Library has a collection of over 77000 volumes. The Library subscribes to journals and magazines both national and international.

Timings :
The library is kept open on all working days from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
On all Saturdays except Second Saturdays and during vacation, the working hours are fixed from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm

Membership and Lending Books
The library provides a membership system for various categories of individuals, allowing them to borrow books based on their eligibility. The lending rules and borrowing periods are structured to accommodate the needs of different members while adhering to Kerala Government’s Order FJ/414/2017-HEDN dated 07-07-2018. NLIST Inflibnet : E-Resources Facility
Nirmala college is registered for the N-LIST programme, an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under the National Mission on Education through ICT.
The N-LIST provides access to e-resources to students, researchers and faculty from colleges through server(s) installed at the INFLIBNET Centre.
The authorized users from college can access e-resources and download articles required by them directly from the publisher’s website once they are duly authenticated as authorized users through servers deployed at the INFLIBNET Centre.
DELNET
To enhance the search for information across various online databases and union catalogs, our library has subscribed to a one-year membership with the Developing Library Network (DELNET), based at J.N.U Campus, New Delhi.
DELNET has recently launched a new discovery portal for its member libraries. This portal provides users with access to a wealth of resources, including research articles, e-books, e-journals, theses, books, and millions of bibliographic records.
Interlibrary Loan Services
DELNET offers an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Document Delivery Service, enabling member libraries to request individual books or photocopies of articles published both within India and internationally.
