Digital Library Services

The Digital Library Resource Centre at Nirmala College offers a comprehensive range of services to its members, including:

1. Registration for NLIST INFLIBNET (e-resources): Facilitating access to a vast array of electronic resources for research and academic purposes via individual username and password mode for remote access.

2. Access to DELNET e-resources: Providing access to a wide range of electronic resources via common username and password available through the DELNET network.

3. Access to Libsoft Digital Library: Offering access to the Libsoft Digital Library platform for accessing digital content.

4. WEB OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) - Book Search: Allowing members to search for books and resources available in the library's collection through an online catalog.

5. Photocopying: Providing photocopying services for A4 sized academic materials and documents.

6. Printing A4 size: Offering printing services for A4-sized documents and materials.

7. Scanning A4 size: Providing scanning services for A4-sized documents and materials.

8. Internet access: Offering internet access for research, study, and academic purposes.

9. WiFi connectivity assistance: Assisting members in connecting to the library's WiFi network for online access.

10. Plagiarism Checking: Providing tools and assistance for plagiarism checking to ensure academic integrity.

11. Bibliography Assistance: Offering support and guidance for creating bibliographies and citing sources correctly.

Meri Mati-Mera Desh campaign News

'Mery Matti Mera Desh' campaign was inaugurated.

Vazhakulam: In commemoration with the 75 th Indian Independence day, as part of Azadi ka Amruth maholsav, meri Matti Mera desh campaign was inaugurated at Nirmala college Muvattupuzha in collaboration with NSS unit of the college and Nehuru Yva Kendra. 

The meeting was presided over by Dr. KV Thomas, Principal Nirmala College. The meeting was inaugurated by K.G Radhakrishnan, the block panchayat president. As part of the campaign the block  panchayat officials had collected soil from the different gramapanchayats and will send back to Delhi to construct 'Amruthavadika' to nourish the feeling of oneness and unity.

India can act as a global leader among the southern nations across the globe

Muvattupuzha: India is capable enough to act as  a  global leader of southern region, T.P Srinivasan, former Indian delegate of india in UN, opined in the two days national seminar hosted by the department of economics, Nirmala college in collaboration with ICSSR on the theme"sustainable development and international peace in the context of India's in charge of G20 meeting"
Prof. Liyagath Ayoobghan, University of Mumbai, Dr. Krishna Raj, Banglore institute of social and economic change professor, Dr. Alice Mani, Christ University Bangalore, prof. Veeramani, director- center for development studies, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Kerala digital University will be presenting research papers on different themes in the seminar.
Dr. KV Thomas, principal presided over the inauguration ceremony of the seminar Mr. AJ Emmanuel, vice principal, Dr. Justin, Bursar were also present in the ceremony. The seminar was conducted under the leadership of  Dr. Meera, head of the department, Mr.shaimon, Ms. Alphonsa, Ms.Mittumol,Ms. Beemamol, Mr. Bestin.
